WE LOVE DANCE ______________THIS MUCH.

Movement Forum (aka MoFo) was created in 2003 as a means to investigate the use of dance improvisation as a performance art. As the longest-running professional improvisational dance company in Utah, Movement Forum is a dynamic group of performers who present intelligent, contemporary dance with an honesty and wit that is realized through the spontaneity of improvisation.

In celebration of our 11th year, we have successfully completed a Kickstarter Campaign and received funding from the Salt Lake City Arts Council and Utah Division of Arts and Museum to commission five (count em' 5!) Improvisation artists to create work for our September 19th & 20th show. But we're not hogging all the cake. The artists will be teaching master classes and facilitate jams within the community and you're invited! Click HERE or visit our GUEST ARTIST SERIES page for more info.

Hailed by Utah's beloved City Weekly Magazine as the dance company with the “Best UnChoreography”, MoFo likes to think it can mess with the best of em' here in SLC.
